Daylight Savings Time

I’m pretty sure that Daylight Savings Time wasn’t created just for the Alabama Gulf Coast, but we sure take advantage of it. Our sunset time is already creeping toward 7:30 PM. That’s nearly three hours of daylight after 5:00 PM. That’s a lot of time, especially if you have to work while in paradise, which I do. That’s plenty of time to stroll on the beach, play golf or whatever suits you in the early evening. It’s also makes for a great dinner setting, watching the sun go down during your meal.
