Fireworks, Lazy River and Chevelle

The Beachin’ clan will be perfectly positioned at Phoenix on the Bay II for the long 4th of July weekend. We’ll be arriving in my recent purchase, a 1971 Chevelle Malibu. (Note: for my fellow car enthusiasts: blue with white stripes, black interior, white bench split seat, 400 Turbo automatic transmission, 350 engine, Edelbrock carburetor. Sweet.). When not cruising Beach Boulevard in the ‘Velle, the Lazy River will be the preferred spot during the day (at least for me). We’ll head down to Gulf Shores in the Chevelle and take in the fireworks at the Hangout Friday night. Saturday night we’ll be partying with Montgomery Gentry at the Amphitheater in Orange Beach. I’m thinking Sunday will be a “wind down” day taking advantage of the grill and the Lazy River.
