Commune With Nature

There are so many things to do and see in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area; some cost money, some are free. For those who are trying to save a little money (and here I raise my hand emphatically), free is always a good option to have.

Nature trails and wildlife observations are a personal preference for me, and the Alabama Gulf Coast has some amazing nature and wildlife. The Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge is a 6,000 acre preserve with hiking trails, lots of wildlife, and free admission. The Biophilia Nature Center is another option, with a butterfly nursery, carnivorous plants, and a giant alligator—and only a $5 donation for admission.

Both locations are within easy driving distance of Brett/Robinson properties. Learn more about these and other nature excursions here.
