Beauty is a major characteristic of Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. If you think I’m only referring to the beaches, then you’ve never visited the Orange Beach Arts Center—an ideal place for exploring the local aesthetics.

Home to more than 120 local artists, the Center’s gallery features regularly changing exhibits of paintings, pottery, and sculptures. The best part about this type of beauty is it’s for sale—the Arts Center will even ship your purchase to your home.

But one of my favorite things about the Orange Beach Arts Center is the glass artwork. If you’ve never seen glass blowing before, you should check it out; it’s just really cool. And the Arts Center offers various classes that teach you about hot glass casting and how to make glass artwork.
