The First Ride at The Wharf

On Thursday May 25th I attended the Wharf’s First Ride Day with the lovely Mrs. Beachin’ and our two sons Brett and Robinson. The highlight of the day was a free ride on The Wharf’s ferris wheel, the largest in the Southeast. At the top of the ferris wheel you get a great view of our entire lovely area and beaches. I could even see my room at Phoenix X. The Wharf also provided free food, tours of their facility and free movies at the new Rave Theater. The Wharf opens their amphitheater this weekend with a concert featuring Hank Williams, Jr. and Rhett Akins on Saturday night. Click here to see a list of future concert events at The Wharf.
This weekend is Memorial Day Weekend, the traditional beginning of summer on Pleasure Island. The weather’s great, the beaches and the Gulf of Mexico are as beautiful as ever and we’re ready for your visit. Come on down, and as always, tell them Beachin’ Bob sent you.
