Putting Greens

Even though we consider golf to be a leisurely activity, for many of us it brings out our most competitive characteristics. No matter how “leisurely” I tell myself any given golf game is going to be, I always play with a particular goal in mind: to beat my lowest score.

And there’s no vacation from this competitiveness. If it’s golf, it’s competition—even if only against myself.

So I love to take advantage of the putting greens that are available at many of the Brett/Robinson properties. I find that my short game needs the most work (not that my long game doesn’t), so practicing on the putting greens is a good warm-up. Plus it truly is relaxing and makes a nice addition to an already enjoyable golf vacation.
